Thanks to Alistair George for planning and organising a great event. The turn out was a little larger than anticipated - apologies to those who had to use a recycled map or missed out on their choice of course. All the results are here:

Thanks to Ewan for planning and everyone for coming. All the controls were there when we went to pick them up, despite the reputation that the "wrong side of River Road"has for petty theft (and bad drivers).

The Big Foot Div 2 were narrowly defeated at Boggabilla Reserve on Sunday despite being minor premiers, whilst Div 1 concluded an unbeaten season and collected the trophy. Outside the team, good runs from promising youngsters Jock Davis and Ben Hanley had Mark Shingler and Andy Simpson checking out their Div 2 options.
In Div 4, the team also kept its record for the season and didn't trouble the scorer. Div 5 beckons.

Another fine winter day in Sydney and three Big Foot kids were out representing their schools at the Sydney North Schools Orienteering champs and they ran brilliantly.
Jamie Marsh came second on the boys course, beaten by one of his Mowbray PS year-mates but also providing a great target for a third Mowbray competitor. After that Mowbray School trifecta Big Foot Oliver McFarlane took out 4th and also helped a fellow Epping Heights PS mate into 5th.
On the girls course Lyra Simpson was the clear winner, but starting first did little to help her Lane Cove PS team mates.
