Hanny takes number 1 spot

Hanny Alston has overtaken Lizzie Ingham to be number 1 ranked female in the Big Foot Rankings after the leading women made the rest of the competition look pedestrian at the ACT Sprint Championships. Hanny, Lizzie and third-placed Shannon Jones all had outstanding runs on their 2.3km Sprint course, with Hanny and Lizzie both showing continued form improvement as they prepare for WOC.

Lizzie beat Hanny in today's ACT Middle Championships, giving her a 6-5 lead in their ranked head-to-head contests this year ending 3 months of dominance by Hanny.

Matt Crane continues his long term reign as number one bloke.
