Wallaringa Orienteers are hosting the SA Middle Distance Championships on the newly mapped Wirreanda Farm which adjoins Tower Hill and Rocky Paddock.

In the interest of fair play the Tower Hill orienteering map is now embargoed until September 8th 2024. Orienteers must not set courses, hold training exercises, reconnoitre, or train on this map using old courses from Tower Hill +/- Rocky Paddock.

Assembly location: entrance from Gordon Rd off Warren Rd, 1km northwest of Forestry SA headquarters. Signs on Warren Rd just east of Warren Reservoir causeway - take care when turning across traffic.
Follow Gordon Rd with care into the gateway of Wirreanda Farm and park as directed

COURSES and CLASSES
Course 1: M21A = 5.7km; 300m climb
Course 2: W21A, M20A, M35A = 4.8km; 240m climb
Course 3: M16A, M45A = 4.1km; 200m climb
Course 4:W20A, W35A, M55A = 3.7km; 180m climb
Course 5: W45A, W55A, M65A = 3.4km; 160m climb
Course 6: W16A, W65A, M75A = 2.8km; 140m climb
Course 7: W75A, W85A, M85A = 2.1km; 70m climb
Hard navigation courses 1-7
Course 8: M14A, M Open B = 3.0km; 150m climb, moderate navigation
Course 9: W14A, W Open B = 2.2km; 90m climb, moderate navigation
Course 10: M12, W12 = 2.3km; 60m climb, easy navigation
Course 11: W10, M10 = 1.6km; 50m climb, very easy

If you do not wish to enter your age class, some courses (5 to 11) are also available for individuals and groups can choose course 6, 8 or 10.

Enter as an individual or a group, by midnight on Thursday September 5th - pre-entry only, no enter on the day is available.

Start times will be pre-allocated from 10am and notified to competitors by Saturday 7th.

Loan SI Cards will be allocated if you do not provide your own SI Card Number on entry. SI Air will not be activated for this race.

Entry Fees, which include a landowner donation:
OSA Club Members: Senior $17, Junior (14-20 years old) $5, Sub-Junior (<14 years old) Free.
Member Groups (with Adult $22, with Juniors only $10) includes 2 maps
Non-Members: Senior $27, Junior (14-20 years old) $17, Sub-Junior (<14 years old) $17
Non-Member Groups : (with at least one Adult $32, with Juniors only $22).includes 2 maps
Individual adults on Course 10 and 11 pay the Over 14 junior fee.

Groups all entering to compete on a course together can enter the Group Category. Enter the first group member under the category, and enter the remaining members as Group Entrants. Groups will be allocated 2 maps per team, additional maps can be ordered upon entering ($2). Please ensure all group members are added via the same entry transaction by using the Enter, cancel or change entry for a member option on the entry form page.

Families entering in one transaction will receive a discount applied automatically.
